PACBI

We wish to reaffirm our full dedication to the Palestinian cause and its people! As anti-Zionists, we pledge our commitment to honouring the the BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions) movement and with it, PACBI (the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic & Cultural Boycott of Israel).

The Zionist Entity is a settler-colony who’s existence is predicated on the destruction of Palestine. Any institution linked to it is culpable in the oppression and genocide of Palestinians. The trend of ‘normalisation’ has to be combatted, and we must recognise the entity as a colonial outpost of the U.S. and Europe.

Our project exists as we wanted to create a cultural space that is open in it’s solidarity with the Palestinian national liberation struggle. This remains our mission. With each screening we hope to circulate knowledge, build community, and stand with Palestine and all oppressed peoples.

We urge other cultural organisations to pledge your support, for more information please see the link in our bio. Thank you to @artworkersforpalestinescotland for their hard work promoting PACBI in Scotland!

The image features a hand-drawn illustration in colored pencil with floral elements and text. At the top, a purple tulip and a pink poppy bloom are connected by a vine. Written in capital green letters, the text states, "AS A CULTURAL ORGANISATION IN SCOTLAND WE PLEDGE TO SUPPORT." The central focus is the word "PACBI," rendered in bold red letters intertwined with green floral patterns. Below this, the text in green continues, "THE PALESTINIAN CAMPAIGN FOR THE ACADEMIC AND CULTURAL BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL." The bottom of the image showcases a detailed pink flower on the left and a red tulip-like flower bending towards the bottom right. The artwork carries an artisanal touch and communicates a pledge to support a specific political and social initiative.
